Boosting self-confidence is no easy task. Here are some tips for those who struggle daily with this.

Self-confidence is our ability to trust and have faith in who we are and what we do. It’s really hard to do, admittedly. So if you find yourself having some struggling reaching this goal, here are 5 tips that’ll help boost your self-confidence!

1 – Don’t Compare Yourself to the Other People

Let’s put this simply: You are not other people and those other people are not you. In today’s world, it’s so easy to spend so much time comparing our lives to the lives of other people, so when we feel like our life isn’t as good as someone else’s we begin to doubt ourselves.

Stop that!

Be extra careful when you are comparing your goals to other people’s goals, your passions to other people’s passions, and your skills/achievements to others… spending time thinking that other people are better than you is a surefire way to decay your self-confidence.

Just take a second and remind yourself that everyone is on their own path and none of this thing called life is a competition.

2 – You Have to Take Good Care of Your Body

It’s really hard to build your self-confidence if you’re not taking care of your body physically. If you are not getting enough sleep, or if you’re not exercising, or if you’re not eating as healthy as possible, you’re doing yourself a disservice, both mentally and physically.

Make self-care a TOP PRIORITY for yourself. When you’re able to feel good about yourself physically, so much more will begin to fall in line.

3 – Treat Yourself Kindly

If you make a mistake, or if something doesn’t work out the way that you want it to, don’t beat yourself up. It’s okay! When you start to abuse yourself mentally, your motivation goes down the drain.

Next time something like that happens, remind yourself, “Hey, sh*t happens. It’s okay. Even the best of us make mistakes.” Try speaking to yourself the same way that you speak to a friend that may be going through a similar situation.

You’re doing a lot better than you may realize… give yourself credit for that. 🙂

4 – Face Your Fears

Sometimes we refrain from doing what we want because we’re simply too scared to do it. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than facing your fears. That challenge is the ultimate boost in self-confidence!

If you spend your life waiting until you’re 100% confident in order to pursue something… you may be waiting a lot longer than you should be waiting. Go for it.

5 – Surround Yourself With Positivity

For those of you who know me, you should know that this one is my personal favorite! Look, if you surround yourself with a positive support system, then you’ll have the base you need to continue improving your self confidence… it’s as easy as that.

A Final Word from Ky

Let’s be real: We ALL struggle with our confidence on a daily basis. It’s a constant battle of “Am I good enough? Can I do this? Do I have what it takes? I totally understand this, because people like you and I battle this every day.

The key word there is “battle”, which means that you’re never “giving up”. Find a way to boost your self-confidence every chance you get, and you’ll be able to conquer more than you’ve ever realized.

Good Vibes,
Ky
