I think there are many people here that can attest to the crazy busy lives we all decided to lead. So if you’re looking for a way to stay as productive as possible when you’re always busy, I’ve compiled a list for you that is sure to come in handy!

From planning out your day to dealing with the various distractions that may come with your day, here are Ky’s 5 Tips to Being A Busy, Yet Productive Person.

Okay! Let’s get started!

1 – Focus On Two-Minute Accomplishments

Can you accomplish a lot in two minutes? Perhaps! Believe it or not, you can actually get a lot done in two-minutes, especially when it comes to your most mundane tasks. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: If it’s a task that takes less than two-minutes to complete… then just do it. Step 2: If it’s something that takes more than two-minutes, spend those two-minutes simply starting to work on that task.

2 – Do It Standing Up

This is especially for all of the people out there that work in an office environment, even if it’s at home.

My desk at work can flip between being a regular desk and a stand-up desk and I’m super thankful for that. By doing my tasks standing up, I actually find that I am a lot more focused, I am a lot more creative, and ultimately, I am a lot more productive.

3 – Focus On Quick Wins & Small Tasks

The biggest mistake I make sometimes is simply trying to focus on too many things at one time. Instead, what I need to be doing is focusing the quick wins and the small tasks that will 100% assist with my productivity level.

At the end of the day this is the way I view it: stop thinking about the BIG GOAL all the time and focus on the small tasks that can build up and support the big goal.

4 – Put Your Phone Down

This is, without a doubt, the most difficult one on my list because I treat my phone like a small child. The constant texts and emails and social notifications can prove to be quite distracting, so I literally put my phone across the room and turn off any noises it could make.

I too applaud my bravery lol haha

5 – Declutter Your Work Spaces

Aside from the aesthetic pleasure it’ll give you, a clean, decluttered work space will also help you focus. A cluttered work area equals a cluttered brain.
