We spend a lot of time thinking about the failures in our lives. In fact, many of us have become quite proficient in that department. I am here to let you know that you are not defined those “failures”… in fact, life is better than you may realize. Here’s why…

1 – You May Have Done Bad Things, But That Doesn’t Make You a Bad Person

Look… life is weird and because of its weirdness, we often make questionable decisions. Decisions in which we look back and say to ourselves, “Wait, really?!” You’re a human being and you’re going to mess up every now and then, and that’s okay!

At some point, you’re going to need to stop beating yourself up and simply learn from it and forgive yourself. You’re not a bad person, I promise.

2 – Instead of Losing Hope, Shift Your Perspective

One of the reasons why things may seem bleaker than what they are is because when we’re feeling down, we lose hope. We lose any type of inspiration that may be out there, and because of that, we think the worse. However, you can control that! Instead of beating yourself up and losing all hope, shift your perspective.

When time are at their darkest, you can make the choice to view it in the light instead. Once you decide to take the optimistic approach, which is easier said than done, but not impossible, you won’t feel as negative as you may have been feeling.

3 – The Bottom is NOT the End

We all have experienced that feeling of rock bottom. Some of you may still be experiencing it to this day. Know this: The bottom is NOT the end of the road for you.

The feeling of hurt, disappointment, sadness, hopelessness… that’s all normal. The important part is knowing that everything will be okay. You have to believe it, otherwise, that sinking feeling will only continue.

Things Will Get Better Soon

It may not be great right now, and things may not change exactly when you want them to, but you need to understand that you are a good person and things are not as bad you may believe. Trust yourself, trust your plan, and keep optimistically plowing forward. The power of believing in yourself is way stronger than many of us will ever imagine.

Cheers,
Ky
