The Vibe With Ky

Helping Introverts & ADHD Minds Thrive

About Ky

Hey! I am Ky.

If we are being formal for a brief moment, my full name is Kyrus Keenan Westcott. I am a social media content creator and mental health advocate with close to 3 million followers across my platforms. I was incredibly honored to be invited as a special guest of President Joe Biden at the White House Creator Economy Summit. I was also selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans by JCI USA in 2023. Recently, I had the privilege of being a keynote speaker at Neurodiversion 2026 andthe Growth Now Summit 2026.

At the end of the day, my core mission is simple. I add a sense of levity to mental health content as a way to make the topic easier to talk about for people.

Who I Am & What I Do

I am 38 years old, single, and currently living in the Greater Philadelphia Area with my two cats. Right now, I successfully balance two full-time roles simultaneously. Alongside my work as a content creator, I am a full-time Senior Paid Media Strategist at TransPerfect Digital.

With over 20 years of experience in paid media, digital strategy, and content, I deeply understand the realities of corporate burnout and tight deadlines. Whether you are a busy parent trying to manage a constantly shifting family schedule or a professional staring blankly at a spreadsheet at 2:00 PM on a Friday, I see you. I know exactly what it is like to balance a highly demanding career with a brain that wants to focus on absolutely anything else.

My Mental Health Philosophy

At age 34, I received a late diagnosis of ADHD (Inattentive Type). Getting a diagnosis that late in life is a massive adjustment. It is not simply “having a busy brain.” Instead, it feels more like trying to cook a five-course meal in a kitchen where the recipe keeps changing, the smoke alarm is blaring, and someone hid all the utensils. Alongside ADHD, I openly navigate Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Existential OCD.

On my platforms, we are strictly anti-toxic positivity. We validate how hard things are before we look for a hopeful perspective. When you are struggling to fold a mountain of laundry or feeling completely overstimulated at a crowded grocery store, we recognize that exhaustion as biology, chemistry, and executive dysfunction. We never frame it as personal laziness.

However, a massive part of my philosophy is personal accountability. Neurodivergence provides an explanation, but it is never an excuse. We must actively work to improve our lives. Therapy, medication, and routine-building apps are simply tools we use to help our neurodivergent brains function in a neurotypical world.

Please note that I am not a mental health professional. I rely strictly on facts and science. Any educational information I share is backed by clinical research and professional studies. I will always encourage you to seek out professional resources like licensed therapists, doctors, and medical journals first and foremost.

The Fun Stuff (Because We Need Balance)

Life cannot be entirely about productivity hacks. I am a proud graduate of Rider University (Class of 2011 with a BFA), and I have a few very specific passions. I am a massive fan of theme parks, rollercoasters, professional wrestling (WWE), and musical theater. If you ever want to talk about Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter, I am definitely your guy.

I have over 12 tattoos, many of which carry deep personal meaning regarding my mental health journey. Also, for the record: I prefer tea over coffee, I avoid overly sweet things, and I have a profound, uncompromising hatred for peanut butter.
