Long bio (about 270 words)
Kyrus Keenan Westcott (Ky, pronounced “Kai”) is a content creator, podcast host, and mental health advocate whose work rests on one idea: helping make ADHD and mental health a little less scary.
Ky started making videos in 2018, filming in his living room to document his physical and mental recovery after a ruptured Achilles tendon. That honesty found an audience, and TikTok helped it grow in 2020. Today The Vibe With Ky is a community of close to three million people across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Snapchat.
Diagnosed with ADHD (Inattentive Type) at 35, Ky also lives with major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and existential OCD, and talks about all of it openly. He brings levity to heavy topics, explaining mental health the way he wishes someone had explained it to him, with humor, real empathy, and research he cites. Ky was a special guest of President Joe Biden at the White House Creator Economy Summit, was named one of JCI USA’s Ten Outstanding Young Americans in 2023, and was named a HushLoudly Gamechanger “Introvert to Watch.” His writing has appeared in ADDitude Magazine.
